ANKARA (AA) – Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has tested positive for COVID-19, the Spanish club said on Wednesday.
The 62-year-old Italian is expected to miss Saturday’s La Liga fixture against Celta Vigo.
With nine weeks left in the 2021-22 campaign, Real Madrid are top of the Spanish league with 66 points, nine points clear of second-placed Sevilla.
After the Celta Vigo match, Ancelotti’s side travel to London for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on April 6.
