ANKARA (AA) - South Korea test-fired a new type of ballistic missile last month, local media said on Thursday.
Yonhap news reported two Hyunmoo-4 missiles were fired however, one of the projectiles failed.
The report said the new ballistic missile has a range of nearly 800 km and it can carry a 2-ton payload.
The test-firing was conducted by state-run Agency for Defense Development at its Anheung test site in Taean on South Korea's west coast.
