WASHINGTON (AA) - The headquarters of the Republican National Committee in Washington DC was on lockdown Wednesday morning because of an investigation into a suspicious substance, according to media reports,
US Capitol Police closed roads in the 300 block of First Street after someone reportedly sent vials of blood to the building.
The package was cleared and there were no injuries, according to reports.
