ANKARA (AA) - The group stage matches will begin in 2022-23 UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, kicking off the new season for teams for road to Istanbul.
In the UEFA Champions League, a total of 32 teams in eight groups will compete to be among the last 16 teams.
The teams that will take the first two places in eight groups in the Champions League will qualify to the second round.
The teams that will complete their groups in the third place will continue their European journey in the UEFA Europa League. In the Champions League, teams will try to advance to the finals by winning the matches to be played with the two-match elimination method as of the Round of 16.
The 2022-2023 season finale of the Champions League will be played on June 10, 2023, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
