Rockets claim home win over Bucks, Porter Jr. scores 50

Kevin Porter Jr. becomes youngest player in NBA history to reach 50-point, 10-assist mark before turning 21

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Houston Rockets claimed a 143-136 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday in an NBA game.

The Rocket's 20-year-old guard Kevin Porter Jr. scored 50 points and 11 assists, becoming the youngest player in the NBA history to reach the 50-point, 10-assist mark before turning 21 years old.

Christian Wood produced 31 points and nine rebounds while Kelly Olynyk and D.J. Wilson performed a double-double each at Houston's Toyota Center.

Olynyk scored 24 points and 13 rebounds as Wilson finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

For the losing side, Khris Middleton was the highest scorer of his team with 33 points and Bryn Forbes came off the bench to finish with 30 points.

The Rockets are at bottom of the Western Conference standings, improving to 47-16 win/loss.
