ANKARA (AA) - Inter Milan drew with Roma 2-2 in a Sunday's Serie A match to be three points behind leaders AC Milan in standings.
Home team Roma's Lorenzo Pellegrini scored the opener in the minute of 17, finding Inter's net with a low shot outside the area.
Pellegrini put the ball into the bottom corner as Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic did not move.
But the visitors pulled the level in the 56th minute as Inter defender Milan Skriniar scored with a header.
Inter right midfielder Achraf Hakimi scored a classy goal with a left-footed strike in the 63rd minute. Hakimi's shot hit the bar first and then went inside as Inter came back from a 1-0 deficit.
However, Inter could not secure their 2-1 lead as near the end of the match Roma defender Gianluca Mancini equalized with a header to name the result 2-2 in Rome.
Second-placed Inter have 37 points, they are now three points behind the league leaders AC Milan.
Roma are in the third spot with 34 points.
