MOSCOW (AA) - Russia on Friday said it shot down six Ukrainian drones overnight in two regions.
The Defense Ministry in a statement said five drones of plane type were destroyed over Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, and one over the Crimean Peninsula.
Units operating Tor-M2 air defense systems also shot down Ukraine's reconnaissance drones used to lock targets, the ministry said separately, without specifying their number.
Russia launched its "special military operation" in Ukraine in February 2022.
