Russia, Kyrgyzstan sign 5 documents to expand cooperation

Documents aim to expand cooperation on healthcare, transport, finance, education

ISTANBUL (AA) – During intergovernmental talks in Moscow, Russia and Kyrgyzstan on Monday signed five documents to expand bilateral cooperation.

According to a statement by the Russian government, the documents aim to expand cooperation between Moscow and Bishkek on healthcare, transport, finance, and education.

The statement came after Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held talks with his visiting Kyrgyz counterpart Akylbek Japarov.

“Russia and Kyrgyzstan have great potential for increasing cooperation,” Mishustin was quoted as saying during the talks.

For his part, Japarov said there is complete mutual understanding and trust between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, which allows them to develop fruitful cooperation.​​​​​​​
