MOSCOW (AA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin got vaccinated against the novel coronavirus, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
Peskov did not specify which of the three Russian vaccines was used to get the president immunized against the novel virus, and said: "All three vaccines are reliable and effective."
Putin did not like the idea to get vaccinated "on camera," Peskov added, so the Kremlin did not provide the reporters with a photo or video shooting of the process.
Speaking at a government meeting on Monday, Putin stressed that he considered vaccination "a free choice," and "the personal decision of every individual," noting that he chose to get immunized.
