MOSCOW (AA) - Russia on Friday put the international LGBT movement on the national list of extremists and terrorists.
The Russian Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) said various signs and manifestations of extremist orientation have been revealed in the activities of the movement, including the incitement of social and religious discord.
A hearing to review the case has been scheduled for Nov. 30.
In November 2023, the Russian Supreme Court, at the request of the Ministry of Justice, recognized the international LGBT movement as an extremist organization and banned its activities in the territory of the country.
