MOSCOW (AA) - Russian regional authorities on Saturday reported multiple casualties due to Ukraine's drone attacks.
Kursk region Governor Roman Starovoit said in a statement a man was killed in the town of Sudzha after a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive device in the town of Sudzha.
"A local resident was injured. He was promptly taken to the district hospital, where he received first aid. However, the man died," the governor said.
Separately, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said a Ukrainian drone dropped two bombs on a truck in NovostRoyevka-Pervaya village, killing one and injuring another man.
According to Gladkov, another woman was injured in the settlement of Tserkovny in a Ukrainian FPV-drone attack.
Also, at least seven private houses were destroyed in the shelling, he said.
Meanwhile, the death toll from Ukraine's Friday strike on an oil depot in the city of Rovenki in Russia-controlled Luhansk region, which was allegedly carried out using American-made ATACMS missiles with cluster munitions, increased to four. The wounded rose to 11, the local authorities said.
Drone attacks were also reported in other Russian regions directly bordering Ukraine or located in close proximity.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has not commented on Russia's claims yet.
