MOSCOW (AA) - Several Russian commercial radio stations falsely declared air raid alerts on Wednesday due to hacker attacks, the Russian Emergency Ministry said.
"Russia's Emergency Ministry informs that this information is fake and does not correspond to reality. We kindly ask you to follow the reports in official sources," the ministry said in a statement.
It added that information about an alleged air alert and the threat of a missile strike was broadcast as a result of a hacker attack on the servers of some commercial radio stations in several regions.
