MOSCOW (AA) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that he was unaware of North Korea's decision to send military engineers to Ukraine's eastern region of Donbas.

Commenting on media reports claiming Pyongyang plans to send units of military engineers and builders to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, Peskov said: "I don't know what it is about."

Russia and North Korea this month signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement during President Vladimir Putin's visit to Pyongyang. Among other things, it includes a paragraph about bilateral military cooperation, including providing military assistance in case of aggression against either country.
