Russian agency providing security to top officials to hold exercises on Nov. 1-3

Federal Protective Service training could involve use of armored vehicles

MOSCOW (AA) - The Federal Protective Service (FSO), the agency responsible for security of top officials of the Russian state, will hold exercises on Nov. 1-3, TASS reported.

Trainings will take place in Moscow in government buildings, including the parliament, and could involve the use of armored vehicles of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. There are, however, no plans to introduce any restrictions on the movement of citizens.

The drills will be conducted in cooperation with law enforcement and emergency services.
