MOSCOW (AA) - Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov on Friday inspected the training of military personnel at the Leningrad Military District training ground in the country’s northwest.
During his visit, Belousov spoke with servicemen and presented state awards, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
The minister reviewed the practical training of tank crews, drone operation, mortar firing, artillery fire control, sniper training, tactical shooting, and unit management.
Additionally, Belousov discussed the prospects for establishing a district training center in the Leningrad Military District. He also listened to recommendations and addressed issues related to improving training effectiveness and ensuring the freedom of military personnel.
