ISTANBUL (AA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday spoke over the phone with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi and discussed bilateral relations and joint infrastructure projects.
"Both sides gave a positive assessment of the level and dynamics of development of Russian-Iranian relations. Issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, were discussed," a Kremlin statement said.
Both Putin and Raisi agreed to maintain further contacts in the future, the statement added.
