MOSCOW (AA) - A meeting of the Russian and Turkish foreign ministers planned to take place in Turkey on Tuesday has been rescheduled for next week, Russian officials said on Monday.
Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov are now expected to meet next Monday, March 18 in the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya to co-chair the Russian-Turkish joint strategic planning group, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced.
The ministry blamed the delay on difficulties in Lavrov’s schedule.
The event will pave the way for the April 14 summit of the High-Level Cooperation Council in Moscow.
