The 26-year-old suspect was first taken care of by rescuers in a hotel in the town of Roissy-en-France outside Paris on Monday, following serious burns after an explosion, French media outlets reported.

Rescuers alerted the police who found suspicious materials inside his room.

He was placed into custody the next day, the national anti-terror prosecutor’s office (Pnat) said on Wednesday, according to broadcaster France info.
