ANKARA (AA) - Russia’s stock market on Thursday reopened for limited trading after nearly a month-long hiatus.
Moscow Exchange (MOEX) rose 11% to 2,743 points at 0910 GMT.
Transactions can only be made in 33 stocks, and short selling is prohibited.
MOEX plummeted a whopping 33.3% on Feb. 24 when Russia launched a war on Ukraine.
On Feb. 28, trading was suspended until further notice.
