ISTANBUL (AA) - Aryna Sabalenka beat Magda Linette Thursday to face Elena Rybakina in the Australian Open women's singles final.
Sabalenka, a 24-year-old from Belarus tasted a straight-sets win over Linette from Poland with 7-6 and 6-2 results at Rod Laver Arena.
The No.5-seeded Sabalenka reached a grand slam final for the first time in her career and will play against Elena Rybakina at 0830 GMT on Saturday.
Earlier Thursday, Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon winner from Kazakhstan reached the Australian Open finals after defeating Victoria Azarenka from Belarus.
