ANKARA (AA) - Samuel Eto'o announced Wednesday his candidacy for president of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
"I am honored and pleased to announce my candidacy for the Presidency of The Cameroon Football Federation," the former Cameroonian forward said on Twitter, while promising reform and laid out plans to “rebuild our football.”
The 40-year-old played for powerhouses including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
The four-time African footballer of the Year won three Champions League titles in 2006 and 2009 with Barcelona and in 2010 with Inter.
