ISTANBUL (AA) - Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller both scored twice in Germany's comfortable 9-0 win against Liechtenstein in a FIFA World Cup European qualifiers match Thursday.
Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring with a penalty goal in the 11th minute at Wolfsburg's Volkswagen Arena
Daniel Kaufmann produced an own goal in the 20th minute to make it 2-0 while goals came from Sane and Marco Reus in the first half.
Sane scored his nation's fifth goal in 49th minute as Thomas Muller netted two goals in the 76th and 86th minutes.
Germany found two other goals from Ridle Baku and Maximilian Goppel (own goal).
In the ninth minute, Liechtenstein defender Jens Hofer was shown a red card.
Following this victory, already-qualified Germany boosted their points to 24 in Group J.
