ISTANBUL (AA) - Saudi Arabia and France on Thursday discussed their joint coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.
The discussion was made during a meeting between Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and his French counterpart Catherine Colonna in Riyadh on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, according to a statement by the Saudi Foreign Ministry.
"The two sides touched on the latest developments in the international arena, in addition to addressing the most prominent topics raised at the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS," the statement added.
They also reviewed the topics raised during the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.
The Global Coalition to Defeat DaeshISIS was formed in September 2014 to take part in the fight against the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria. The coalition has members of nearly 85 countries and partner organizations.
