DOHA, Qatar (AA) - Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud received Jordanian counterpart King Abdullah II on Wednesday in the Saudi city of Jeddah, Jordan’s official Petra news agency reported.
The two Arab monarchs discussed bilateral relations and ongoing efforts to resolve the Middle East’s various crises, according to the news agency.
Wednesday’s meeting was also attended by Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Mohammad bin Salman al-Saud and Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki, along with other high-ranking officials from both sides.
The Jordanian king arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for an unannounced visit during which he also performed the Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.
