ANKARA (AA) - Khouma Babacar, the Senegalese forward for Turkish side Aytemiz Alanyaspor, on Thursday suffered a heart spasm, the Super Lig club said.
Alanyaspor said on Twitter that Babacar, 28, was diagnosed with a heart spasm in initial examinations at a state hospital after feeling unwell at the team's pre-season camp in Burdur, southwestern Turkey.
The Mediterranean-region club added that Babacar will have further tests and treatment at a private hospital in the club's hometown Alanya.
Babacar joined Alanyaspor in 2020 from Italy's Sassuolo.
The former Fiorentina forward has scored 12 goals in 28 appearances for Alanyaspor.
