Serbia seeks to expand defense cooperation with Greece

Serbia and Greece have long friendships and strategic partnerships that help to keep the region peaceful and stable, Serbian President Vucic says during meeting with Greek Defense Minister Dendias

BELGRADE, Serbia (AA) – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed his desire to expand defense and military cooperation with Greece during a meeting with Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday.

"We talked about security issues with Mr. Dendias. We want to develop military and defense cooperation," Vucic said in an Instagram statement after the meeting in the capital Belgrade.

According to him, Serbia and Greece have long friendships and strategic partnerships that help to keep the region peaceful and stable.

During his visit, Dendias will meet with his Serbian counterpart Bratislav Gasic.
