DAVOS, Switzerland (AA) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Friday said he is "highly proud of the very good relations between Turkey and Serbia."
Speaking to Anadolu Agency on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland’s Davos, Vucic hopes to spend more hours to further the bilateral relations.
Vucic also said he spoke with Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak over dinner held by Borge Brende, president of the WEF.
Vucic also expressed his pleasure for the planned visit of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Serbia in June.
"I am looking forward to seeing President Erdogan in Belgrade in June. He has confirmed his visit and that is very good news for us," he added.
Vucic said he believes the volume of trade between Serbia and Turkey will increase and political relations and economic relations strengthen.
