ANKARA (AA) – Five high schools were evacuated in the northern French city of Rouen on Tuesday after receiving threatening emails warning of an imminent attack, according to local media.
Following the evacuations, police in the Seine-Maritime department in the northern Normandy region were asked to confirm the veracity of the threats, according to broadcaster France-Bleu.
Another high school in the region was threatened on Monday, it added.
The Le Figaro daily said that students at Paul Eluard High School in Paris were evacuated as a precaution after its management received a similar email threatening a bomb and rifle attack.
