GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - Several Palestinians were killed and many others were injured during a series of Israeli airstrikes across different parts of the Gaza Strip on Friday.

At least two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car in the Nuseirat camp in the Central Gaza Strip, medical sources at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah told Anadolu.

Four more Palestinians were killed and six others were injured as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing of a house Thursday night in the Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, they added.

Another Palestinian was killed and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a gathering of civilians in the Al-Zawaida area, crowded with displaced people.

Medical sources also reported that two Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombing near the Abu Holi area, south of the city of Deir Al-Balah.

Another Palestinian was also killed and several others were injured by gunfire and shells from Israeli tanks in areas west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to eyewitnesses.

Medical sources at the European Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip told Anadolu that five Palestinians were injured in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a group of civilians in the Khuza’a area east of the city.

Meanwhile, fires erupted in various areas of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip due to heavy Israeli artillery bombardment of the camp, eyewitnesses said.

Medical sources at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City reported that two Palestinians were killed and six others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a family home near Al-Salam Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.

Israel has continued its brutal offensive on Gaza since a Hamas attack last Oct. 7 despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.

More than 36,600 Palestinians have since been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children, and over 83,000 others injured, according to local health authorities.

Eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine.

Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its operation in the southern city of Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
