A Simone Biles-led Team USA secured Olympic gold in women's artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Games on Tuesday.
The US women’s team scored 171.296 points to be the winners at Paris's Bercy Arena.
Biles, who won four gold medals at the Rio 2016 Games, clinched another Olympic gold medal in the French capital after contributing to her team’s victory in the finals.
The 27-year-old US star scored 14.900 points on the vault, while Biles' compatriots Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles racked up 14.800 and 14.400 points. Biles had more points in the floor exercise as well.
Italy had 165.494 points as a team to be the silver medalists in Paris.
Meanwhile, Brazil took an Olympic bronze in with a finals score of 164.497.
Team USA previously won Olympic gold medals at Atlanta 1996, London 2012 and Rio 2016.
They were the favorites at the Tokyo 2020 Games, but team USA, including Biles, finished second to return home with silver.
