ISTANBUL (AA) - Upgrading his temporary gig, Real Madrid has appointed Argentinian Santiago Solari the club's manager through June 2021.
"The board of directors of Real Madrid C.F., which met today, 13 November 2018, has agreed to appoint Santiago Solari as first-team coach until 30 June 2021," the club announced on Tuesday.
Solari, 42, took over coaching duties on Oct. 29 on an interim basis, replacing former manager Julen Lopetegui.
Since he took over the club, Real Madrid has had four wins in four matches.
Real Madrid is currently in sixth place with 20 points in Spain's La Liga, four points behind leader Barcelona.
