JOHANNESBURG (AA) - South African sprinter Thando Dlodlo was banned Tuesday for two and a half years for doping.
The South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport said Dlodlo tested positive for testosterone last April and his ban began June 29.
The 22-year-old's ban will last until Dec. 28, 2023.
South Africa, along with Dlodlo, won gold at the 2021 World Athletics Relays in May.
