ISTANBUL (AA) - S&P Global announced Tuesday that it will acquire financial technology provider Visible Alpha, which will be part of the S&P Global Market Intelligence division.
The acquisition aims to create a premium offering of fundamental investment research capabilities on S&P Global Market Intelligence's Capital IQ Pro platform, it said in a statement.
"Visible Alpha has built an incredible reputation with the market and is an ideal fit that will further strengthen the quality of our offering as a leading provider," said Adam Kansler, president of S&P Global Market Intelligence.
"We have followed Visible Alpha's growth and have been impressed with its pace of innovation and the valuable insights it provides to its customers."
Visible Alpha, founded in 2015, is a financial technology firm that provides analytics and research reports and distributes the data through channels including a web-based platform, according to the statement.
