Spain's unemployment rate plunged to 11.27% in the second quarter of 2024, the lowest since 2008, according to data released on Friday.
The figure was down from 12.29% in the previous quarter, Spain's statistical authority's data showed.
The number of jobless people decreased by 222,600 to 2.76 million in April-June.
Some 21.68 million were employed during the three-month period, down 434,700 people compared to January-March.
