ANKARA (AA) – Real Madrid have reunited with Spanish point guard Sergio Rodriguez, the Madrid basketball club announced on Monday.
"Sergio Rodriguez (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 12/06/1986) is back at Real Madrid," the club said in a statement.
He returned to Real Madrid from Italy's Emporio Armani Milan.
Real Madrid and EuroLeague Basketball confirmed each that Rodriguez, 36, signed a one-year deal with the Whites.
Rodriguez was a Real Madrid player in 2010-2016 to win the 2015 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, and three Spanish league titles.
He was the 2014 EuroLeague MVP and helped Russia's CSKA Moscow to secure the 2019 EuroLeague title.
Rodriguez was a Spain guard when his nation took the 2006 FIBA World Cup.
He won an Olympic silver in London 2012 and a bronze medal in Rio 2016.
