ISTANBUL (AA) - In their ninth straight win, the Phoenix Suns on Monday edged out the Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 99-96.
Bahamian center Deandre Ayton posted a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns at Minneapolis'Target Center.
Devin Booker got 29 points, while Chris Paul finished with 21 points and eight assists.
Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns was the highest scorer of the game with 35 points and 13 rebounds.
D'Angelo Russell racked up 22 points for the Timberwolves.
With the win, the Suns now have a 10-3 win/loss in the Eastern Conference.

Dallas Mavericks’ Slovenian guard Luka Doncic left the court after turning his left ankle in a 111-101 win over the Denver Nuggets.
“Luka walked off on his own power. I think he got rolled up on his lower left leg, so we’ll see how he feels tomorrow,” Dallas coach Jason Kidd said in a statement.
