ANKARA (AA) - Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker will be out "indefinitely" with a hamstring injury, the NBA reported Thursday.
"Per the Suns, Booker has a mild right hamstring strain and ‘there is no timetable for his return,’” the league said on its website.
Booker, 25, suffered the injury in a playoff game Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
He had a prolific performance in the second game, scoring 31 points in the first half but then was hurt and had to leave the game.
The Suns lost 125-114 to the Pelicans, who tied the first-round playoff series in the West at 1-1.
Game 3 of the series will be held Friday and Game 4 on Sunday.
Both games will be played at the New Orleans' Smoothie King Center.
The NBA playoffs are played in a best-of-seven format.
