Suns sweep Nuggets to qualify for Western Conference Finals

Chris Paul, Devin Booker combined for 71 points to lead Suns to West Finals

ANKARA (AA) - The Phoenix Suns moved to the Western Conference Finals after sweeping the Denver Nuggets 4-0 in the semifinals late on Sunday.

Chris Paul impressed the audience with 37 points, with Devin Booker scoring 34 to lead Suns to a 125-118 win against the Nuggets.

MVP Nikola Jokic, who played with 22 points and 11 rebounds in 28 minutes, was ejected for a flagrant foul in third quarter.

Will Barton scored 25 points, Michael Porter Jr. added 20 and Monte Morris finished with 19 for the losing side.

The Suns will next face either the Utah Jazz or Los Angeles Clippers in the West finals.


- Bucks tie series 2-2 in Eastern Conference semifinals

The Milwaukee Bucks toppled the Brooklyn Nets 107-96 to tie the series 2-2 in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points, while Khris Middleton dropped 19 for the winning side.

Jrue Holiday played with 14 points, P.J. Tucker had 13 and Bryn Forbes scored 10 for the Bucks.

Nets star Kevin Durant posted a double-double with 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Game 5 will be played in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
