ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye is likely to post a current account surplus of $749 million in July, an Anadolu survey projected on Tuesday.
Estimates from a group of 12 economists ranged between $213 million and $1.2 billion in surpluses.
The current account balance saw a surplus of $407 million in June.
The Turkish Central Bank will release its official balance of payments data on Thursday.
The current account balance is expected to post a deficit of $20.4 billion at the end of 2024, with economists’ estimates ranging between $16 billion and $27 billion.
