PARIS (AA) - Teachers in the French capital have gone on strike due to a dispute over pay and working conditions.
Gathering at the Edmond Rostand square on Tuesday, the striking teachers held a march toward the Education Ministry.
The crowd held banners, criticizing the working conditions and Education Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera, calling for her resignation.
She was appointed the education minister after Gabriel Attal became the prime minister last month.
Oudea-Castera is also responsible for sports, Paris Olympics, and youth.
