NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street closed lower Monday as tech stocks continued to plummet.
The Dow fell 36 points to finish trading at 21,235 and the S&P lost two points to 2,429.
The Nasdaq decreased 32 points to end the day at 6,175. The index lost 1.8 percent Friday and 146 points in the past two trading sessions, or 2.3 percent.
Apple fell 2.5 percent, while Microsoft and Amazon saw their stock prices each lose about 1 percent.
Tech stocks hit record levels in recent weeks but have been on a correction course since Friday, analysts said.
