ISTANBUL (AA) - Thomas Muller scored twice and Bayern Munich won against Borussia Dortmund 4-2 on Saturday to top the Bundesliga, giving Thomas Tuchel a winning start as manager.
Bayern took an early lead with an own goal from Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel in the 13th minute at the Allianz Arena.
Muller scored from close range in the 18th minute, and doubled his tally in the 23rd minute and the first half ended 3-0 in favor of the Bavarians.
Assisted by Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman then made it 4-0 for Bayern in the 50th minute.
Dortmund found two goals with Emre Can in the 72nd minute and Donyell Malen in the 90th minute, but it was too little too late.
Bayern went back to the top of the Bundesliga table with 55 points, and Dortmund dropped to the second spot with 53 points in 26 matches.
Tuchel, 49, became the Munich team's new coach after the club parted ways with Julian Nagelsmann last month.
