LONDON - Thousands of people marched through London and held a rally against the austerity measures planned by the British government amid the cost of living crisis.
The rally started from Embankment to London’s central Trafalgar Square.
Some of the slogans protesters raised were “General election now” and “Tories out.”
Speakers in Trafalgar Square included the president of the RMT union, Mick Lynch, and former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
