ANKARA (AA) - Tiger Woods announced Wednesday that he will play with his son Charlie in the PNC Championship on Dec. 16-19.
"Although it's been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the PNC Championship with my son Charlie. I2m playing as a Dad and couldn't be more excited and proud," Woods tweeted.
The 36-hole tournament, with 20 major golf champions teaming up with a family member to play golf, will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando.
Tiger and Charlie, 12, tied for seventh in the tournament last year, the last time Woods played competitively before his Feb. 23 car crash that led to months of rehabilitation.
Woods has 109 professional wins throughout his career.
