ISTANBUL (AA) – Top military officials of Lebanon and France met on Wednesday and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between their armed forces.
During their meeting in Beirut, Lebanon's acting Army Commander Major General Hassan Audi and Brigadier General Philippe de Montenon, head of the Center for the Planning and Conduct of Operations in the French Ministry of Defense, discussed military cooperation between the two countries.
Montenon was flanked by Colonel Bruno Costantini, the French military attaché in Lebanon.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the discussions centered on "ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries' armies."
