ANKARA (AA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu participated in a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg, France on Sunday.
“Discussed our actions against common challenges and the future of Europe as Presidents of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe,” Cavusoglu said on Twitter.
He also held separate talks with members of the Turkish delegation of PACE.
The minister also met with Turkish citizens living in the region at the Turkish Consulate in Strasbourg.
In his interaction with citizens, Cavusoglu highlighted Ankara’s proactive role as a mediator in efforts to resolve regional and global crises.
“Türkiye is the co-chairman of the Group of Friends of Mediation in both the UN and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, as well as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,” he said.
