ISFAHAN, Iran (AA) - Turkey's foreign minister was received Friday by his Iranian counterpart in Isfahan, central Iran, according to diplomatic sources.
Mevlut Cavusoglu had arrived in Isfahan a day earlier, on Thursday, for a working visit at the invitation of his counterpart Javad Zarif, added the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Following a meeting between the countries' delegations, Cavusoglu and Zarif signed a plan meant to strengthen cooperation in bilateral, regional, and international relations.
Afterwards, Cavusoglu attended a lunch hosted in his honor by Zarif.
