ANKARA (AA) - Turkey’s foreign minister and his visiting Iraqi counterpart on Thursday discussed the fight against terrorism.
"Discussed w/my brother Mohammad Ali Alhakeem, Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Iraq, issues in our agenda, including the fight against terrorism and the reconstruction of Iraq," Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted.
The meeting came amid Iraqi President Barham Salih's visit to the Turkish capital Ankara.
Salih and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral relations and possible steps for strengthening cooperation in several areas, as well as regional and international issues.
