ISTANBUL (AA) - Top diplomats from Ukraine and the US on Thursday discussed Kyiv’s peace formula and ways to accelerate the delivery of artillery ammunition to the war-torn country during a phone conversation.
“I spoke with Secretary of State Antony Blinken about Ukraine’s Peace Formula and ways to expedite the delivery of artillery ammunition,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter.
Zelenskyy’s 10 conditions laid out at the latest G-20 summit outlined a formula for peace, the last step of which is signing a peace accord, and also touch on nuclear safety, food and energy security, and Russia’s military withdrawal from Ukraine.
Kuleba further said that Kyiv is working with the US and other partners “around the clock” to ensure that Ukraine has all the ammunition its needs for its defense and counter-offensive operations.
The US has been Ukraine’s staunchest military partner, with Washington having provided more than $29.8 billion in military aid since the start of Russia’s war on Ukraine more than a year ago.
