ISTANBUL (AA) - Tottenham Hotspur tasted a 2-1 away victory Friday against Crystal Palace on matchday 10 of the English Premier League.
Neither team was able to produce a goal in the first half at Selhurst Park, London. Tottenham Hotspur broke the deadlock with an own goal from defender Joel Ward in minute 53.
Tottenham doubled the lead when Heung-Min Son made a close-range finish in the 66th minute. Brennan Johnson assisted.
Crystal Palace narrowed the gap to one with a late goal from James McArthur as Joachim Andersen got the assist in the loss.
First-place Tottenham have collected 26 points, while Crystal Palace are 11th with 12 points after 10 Premier League matches.
